Writing Prompt – Creative Copy Challenge #465

This is a writing prompt. Bet you can’t do it! Take the 10 random words below and crush writer’s block by creating a cohesive, creative short story! And remember: after (if) you finish entering your submission into the comment field, highlight your words and click the bold button to make them stand out and help you determine if you forgot any words. (If you’ve missed previous writing prompts, we BET YOU CAN’T do those, either.) NOTE: Our bolding plugin is gone, so you’ll have to put before and after each of your challenge words if you want them to stand out, but NOT REQUIRED THOUGH! Or, as cleverly done by a CCC-er you can CAPITALIZE the challenge words in your piece.

  1. Dissemination
  2. Interlineations
  3. Phlegm
  4. Canonical
  5. Disambiguation
  6. Agglomeration
  7. Unearthing
  8. Celestial
  9. Hankering
  10. Hit-or-Miss

  1. Anklebuster says:

“Now, on the one hand, you got yer fillahsufers. Them’s the highfalutin’ ones that get into the disambiguation of the argament while really hankering for a bit of loving from the ladies.” Jake hawked and spat vehemently. The phlegm landed at the feet of his nemesis, Frost.

Frost took up the thread: “On the other hand, you have your street-wise goons. They are given to the dissemination of hit-or-miss canonical aphorisms, under the guise of unearthing interlineations between non-existent dichotomies, all the while yearning for carnal release from a celestial goddess.”

Angrily, Jake stomped toward Frost, unaware that he had trod upon the agglomeration of his own making. “Who you calling comical?”
